I'm thrilled you're here.

I'm
Dr. Sabina Rokib

Im Dr Sabina Rokib, CPsychol, MBACP is a British South Asian psychologist and psychotherapist working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds across the UK.

Born and raised in the United Kingdom to parents who migrated from Bangladesh, Dr Rokib grew up navigating multiple cultural worlds. These early experiences shaped her deep interest in identity, belonging, trauma, and the ways culture influences mental health. They also instilled in her a strong awareness of the silent struggles many people carry, often without the language or support to understand them.

Dr Rokib holds advanced training in psychology and psychotherapy and works across clinical, therapeutic, and community settings. She has extensive experience supporting individuals affected by trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, identity struggles, and intergenerational patterns.

Her work is grounded in culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and integrative practice. She believes that healing is not about “fixing” what is broken, but about reconnecting with what has always been within us. At the core of her philosophy is the belief that everyone deserves access to mental health support, regardless of background, culture, or circumstance. She believes that every individual has the capacity to heal, grow, and take control of their own life.

Dr Rokib recognises that many people have been underserved by traditional mental health systems, particularly those from diverse and marginalised communities. This belief is what led her to create Healing Psychology — a platform designed to make psychological knowledge, emotional healing, and self-awareness more accessible, relatable, and empowering.

Through Healing Psychology, she aims to bridge the gap between clinical psychology and real life, offering tools, insights, and education that go beyond the therapy room. Her mission is to help individuals understand themselves on a deeper level, heal from within, and break free from patterns that no longer serve them.

Dr Rokib’s long-term vision is to contribute to a more inclusive and humane mental health landscape — one that honours lived experience, values cultural wisdom, and centres compassion, accessibility, and true transformation.

I'm usually exploring the city's coffee shops, hiking local trails and trying not to kill my houseplants. I believe yoga is something you live, not just practice, which is why you'll find me taking movement breaks during Netflix binges or stretching in grocery store aisles.
